One of our goals here is to gain a relationship with not only our congregation but also our community. SJC is one of our ministries that connect with the surrounding community face to face by walking door to door. This ministry is not to preach or teach the people but to reach the people by letting them know that we are here to give a helping hand! Suggar Mommas Little House of Helps Being apart of this Community we find that there are a lot of people living in poverty and need help. But sometimes its not given because they just don’t meet the requirements that are made by the government, The House Next Door Ministry is for this purpose. With no cost, the families that live around this area are able to come here and gather up food from the Food Pantry and Clothes from the Clothes Closet ranging is all sizes. The only rule we have here is that they can only receive help once every six months (unless it's a special case) because we want to make sure that every family is helped out with an equal amount of food and clothing. Kidz Un4gotten & Christmas 4 Teens Ministries Kidz Un4gotten and Christmas 4 Teens are both ministries geared towards children ages' newborn-12 (KU) and teens 13-18 (C4T). Every Christmas season there are about 100 children and teen-agers that are not able to experience the true meaning of Christmas because of Financial Failure in their homes. Many times these children are forgotten and pushed aside, so through these ministries we are able to restore Joy and Happiness back into their homes not only through gifts but also through Christ! Generation Next Worship Center holds many Children and Student groups that though they may differ in age they Share one thing . . . .
