Christmas For Teens

   This Christmas you can make a difference in a Teenager’s life by joining us and sponsoring a teen for the 3rd annual “Christmas for Teens”.  Right here in Amarillo there are hundreds of teenagers in need; this Christmas YOU can make a difference.  There are many of great organizations helping those in need and I encourage you to continue to support them. However, many of these programs have a gap with children between the ages of 13-18, our teenagers.  This is where Christmas for Teens steps in.

   Christmas for Teens was established in 2006 to provide clothing and/or shoes for our needy teenagers around the Christmas Season. Last year we were able to provide clothing/shoes from Wal-Mart for over 400 teenagers. Unfortunately this was only about half of those in need. This year we are hoping to increase sponsorship so we can help all of the teenagers and your sponsorship will help us achieve this goal! 

  A $50 donation will sponsor a teenager and enable them to purchase needed clothing and/or shoes this Christmas. 100% of your donation will go to the teenager in form of a Christmas for Teens gift certificate. Each teenager that qualifies will receive this gift certificate and redeem it at the Wal-Mart, located on the corner of Coulter & 45th, on  Tuesday, December 16th and Wednesday December 17th: from 5 to 10 PM.  We invite you join us during this time to see how your generous donation has touched the life of an Amarillo teenager.

2008 CFT (Christmas For Teens) was a great success. We were able to help almost 200 Teens this year. That is, Teens were able to spend almost $10,000. That's amazing considering the fact that bussiness's and individuals like you gave from there heart's and fund this outreach every year. Without the individual and bussiness donations it would not be possible to help so many teens. We are hoping this up coming year to double the number of teens next Christmas.
